Today, we’re releasing the CAD file for the Bigscreen Beyond Audio Strap on Printables. You can download the STEP file and begin creating your own mods, accessories, or custom tweaks for the Audio Strap.
The CAD file provides the detailed dimensions we use to manufacture the Audio Strap. This empowers makers and modders in our community to build accessories that perfectly fit their Bigscreen Beyond setup to their particular needs, whether that's immersion in cross-country flights in Microsoft Flight Simulator or dancing in a virtual nightclub in VRChat.
We’ve seen incredible enthusiasm from the community since the release of the Bigscreen Beyond CAD, papercraft, and 3D-printable models last year. The Bigscreen Beyond Discord is filled with passionate creators who love to tweak, modify, and improve, and we can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
Our recent production updates have brought Bigscreen Beyond to customers with lightning-fast turnaround times—now within a week from order to shipment. As we get closer to the holiday season, we expect demand to rise significantly beyond our Los Angeles factory's capacity and can't guarantee the same quick turnaround. If you're looking to ensure delivery before the holidays, we strongly recommend ordering soon.
