The Wait is Over: Bigscreen Beyond 2 Now Ships in 1–3 Days

We have officially reached our biggest production milestone yet: new orders for the Bigscreen Beyond and Beyond 2e now ships within 1-3 business days. In fact, in many cases, Beyond ships within the same day of placing a new order!

We announced Beyond 2 a year ago in March 2025 and we've spent the past year scaling our production operations both overseas and in our in-house Los Angeles factory. We've built a larger team, automated production and quality control using computer vision, fixed bugs and issues, and improved our yields, optimizing every step of our manufacturing pipeline. Thanks to all the hard work by the Bigscreen team, we have successfully caught up with global demand and fulfilled our backlog of preorders.

We've now shipped tens of thousands of headsets to customers around the world. It's exciting to see the Beyond grow in popularity and usage on the monthly SteamVR Hardware charts, growing to 1.00% of VR users in February 2026, beating the HTC Vive Pro and just shy of the Meta Quest Pro in worldwide usage. We want to thank all of our customers for supporting us on our development journey, and especially grateful for those who waited months to receive their Beyonds in the early days as we ramped up mass production. We now have consistent weekly production and sufficient inventory to maintain fast shipping through out the year ahead.

Orders with Prescription Lens Inserts may take up to 3-4 weeks to ship as each prescription lens is custom manufactured to your specifications.

In some cases due to SKU, color, accessory, or regional variability, orders may take a week to ship.

The Fastest Shipping: The Halo Mount with Universal-Fit Cushion

If you want to receive your headset as fast as possible, ordering the Halo Mount with Universal-Fit Cushion is the best option.

Late last year, we announced that we were delaying the Halo Mount in order to make product improvements based on feedback from testers. We have a high bar for quality and ergonomics, and decided to invest more time and engineering to ship an excellent product. The Halo Mount is in the final stages and we're happy with test results in the past 2 months. We'll have a more detailed update on the Halo Mount in a few weeks as we finalize the mass production schedule. We expect to fulfill all Halo Mount preorders by this summer.

However, to get you into VR immediately, we have been shipping the Universal-Fit Cushion first - no need to wait for the Halo Mount!

• Immediate Dispatch: We will ship your Universal-Fit Cushion (which comes with a Soft and Firm variant inside the box) along with your headset within 1-2 days.

• Halo Mount coming later: The Halo Mount will ship to you separately as soon as mass production begins.

For those who don't want the Halo Mount and want the Universal-Fit Cushion alone, we plan to release the Universal-Fit Cushion as a separate accessory on our Store soon. Keep an eye out for that launch in the coming weeks.

Bigscreen Beyond is the only headset in the world that can be custom-fitted to you using our proprietary Custom-Fit Cushion created with a 3D Face Scan of your face. It molds perfectly to the shape of your face for even weight distribution and a perfect lightseal with zero light leakage.

Beyond 2 orders with the Custom-Fit Cushion ships within 2-3 business days. If you prefer our signature Custom-Fit Cushion, you can still ensure a fast delivery by following these steps:

• Scan Immediately: The moment you place your order, you will receive an email invite to our 3D Face Scan app. Completing your scan immediately is the only way to trigger the production of your custom cushion and keep your order on track for a 2–3 day shipment.

• Prescription Lens Inserts: If prescription lens inserts are included in your order, shipment may take 3–4 weeks while the lenses are manufactured. We recommend ordering lens inserts together with your headset, but if you want your headset sooner you can order them separately so the headset can ship earlier. Although we don’t recommend using the headset without vision correction if you require it.
