We're excited to announce that we have now successfully shipped half of all pending orders to date! We've continued to ship Bigscreen Beyond at a predictable pace, staying mostly on schedule. As production at the SKU/color-level isn't perfectly predictable, we've managed to ship some batches a couple weeks ahead of schedule, and some are delayed by a couple weeks. The Halo Mount is also nearing mass production, and we have more details to share below.
Latest Estimated Schedule
We previously set production records in September, shipping more Bigscreen Beyond 2's in a month than we typically do in an entire year of Bigscreen Beyond 1. As expected, we had reduced production in October with the Mid-Autumn Moon Festival shutting down our Asian suppliers for 2 weeks; as such, we did approximately 70% of the volume we did in September. November and December are likely to be a similar level of output given the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Based on these anticipated events, here is the latest estimated shipping schedule for remaining preorders.

As a reminder, the estimated schedules are only for customers who preordered a Beyond with the Custom-Fit Cushion. Customers who instead ordered the Halo Mount have a separate shipping schedule because the Halo Mount ships later (see below for updates to the Halo Mount). For faster shipping, we generally recommend ordering the Custom-Fit Cushion.
We are on track to finish shipping all Beyond 2 and 2e preorders with the Custom-Fit Cushion in the next 1-2 months.
We've completed January through June preorders, and have begun working our way through July, August, and September preorders. We're on track to complete nearly all of these preorders by the end of November as previously estimated.
January-June 2025 preorders: completed. The last few (<50) June preorders will ship next week pending the arrival of additional inventory.
July-September 2025 preorders: we previously expected to complete July preorders by the end of October. July had a large volume of VRChat Edition orders and it will take 2-3 more weeks to complete these preorders. As we produced a bit too much inventory of certain colors/SKUs, August and September 2025 preorders have already been shipping for the past 2 weeks, putting those lucky preorders a couple weeks ahead of schedule. We've shipped just over one third of the July preorders, and shipped 10-20% of August and September preorders already.
As we projected in the previous update, our production volume should enable us to complete July-September preorders by the end of November. The only caveat is the slight variability of color/SKU production; sometimes we over- or under-produce a certain SKU, which delays some orders and accelerates others. We apologize for the frustration this causes, and we continue to do our best to match production as closely as possible to our preorders in the order in which they were placed, but perfection here is not quite possible. We expect almost all (>90%) preorders to be shipped by the end of November, with a few slipping into December based on SKU production variability.
October 2025 preorders: October orders are on track to ship in December as originally estimated.
November 2025 preorders: November orders are expected to ship in December as of today, but we expect holiday order volume to skyrocket especially around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. November preorders may quickly slip into a January ship date.
Updates to the Universal-Fit Cushion and the Halo Mount
The Halo Mount comes in two parts: the Mount and the Universal-Fit Cushion. Customers who previously ordered a Bigscreen Beyond 2 or 2e with a Halo Mount will be first receiving the Universal-Fit Cushion (including both a Soft and a Firm variant). The Halo Mount will ship separately at no extra cost. For more context on the Halo Mount and our plans with the Universal-Fit Cushion, please reference the previous Production Update.
The Universal-Fit Cushion started mass production on November 1st, and is expected to start shipping to customers in a few weeks. After the recent Mid-Autumn Festival, it is taking us longer to ramp up into mass production. We're a couple of weeks behind schedule, and we aim to catch up. As we've done for several years, we use the most expensive expedited air freight options in order to shave weeks off the schedule and catch up on preorder expectations to compensate for such development delays. This will allow us to get the products into the hands of our customers before the holidays.

For the Halo Mount, we're taking extra time to ensure it delivers an excellent experience. Pictured above is the Halo Mount with a Universal-Fit Cushion and the Audio Strap.
We continue to make refinements to the product and have produced multiple builds ("DVTs"). Having done multiple rounds of internal and external testing, we're thrilled to see the positive feedback and we're listening carefully to the critiques to improve wherever possible. Based on the latest feedback, we made a series of changes in October, and have one final round of tweaks in November to polish the UX. The final Halo Mount build before mass production ("PVT") begins in December and rolls right into mass production in late December. We should be able to ship a first batch to customers in late December, but realistically – especially with the challenges of shipping around the holidays – the bulk of Halo Mount shipping will occur in January.

The Halo Mount can be used with any Beyond strap: the Soft Strap, the Audio Strap, and even 3rd-party modded straps like the popular Apple Vision Pro Knit Band. It can also be used with any cushion: the Custom-Fit Cushion, the Universal-Fit Cushion (as pictured above), or no cushion at all. Without a cushion, the Beyond 2 floats weightlessly in front of your face.
Using the Halo Mount without a cushion is a surprisingly light, breathable, and comfortable experience, especially for productivity use cases where you need to see your keyboard and mouse. The cushion-less experience is also a great way to grab a drink while in VR as you can easily see your peripheral vision while still being immersed in VR.
What's Next
Each week, we've been shipping firmware updates to fix bugs, and software updates for Beyond 2e eyetracking. For example, in recent weeks, we released new eyetracking features such as blinking for VRChat, adding new capability beyond the gaze tracking of earlier versions. Beyond 2e's eyetracking will continue to get new features throughout the next year. The bulk of our engineering effort is currently focused on algorithmic development to improve accuracy and latency. More details to come soon particularly regarding our development on performance-oriented improvements for simulation games.
If you haven't preordered a Bigscreen Beyond yet, you can order a Beyond 2 or 2e from our Store. Orders placed today with the Custom-Fit Cushion are expected to ship in December. Due to unprecedented demand, it will take until January or February 2026 before we have sufficient inventory on hand for fast shipping without long preorder wait times. In the next week or two, the window to order a Beyond 2 and receive it before the Christmas holidays will end, and new orders will only ship in January.
